this video discusses how the old school system had a DNA of pedagogy that was focuced on only instructing students how to learn and ensuring students take in all the information. however now we need a new pedagogical DNA for teachers to suit the 21st century.
this video is really interesting. its about how students with problems can communicate effectively online with teachers and pshchologists. they can express their feelings and learn effectivley.
teaching high school science in the information age, is a long document that includes information about the different hardware and software resources teachers can use to provide meaningful learning to their students. i just completed an assignment for science teaching meathods and this site would off been greatful for the assignment since my topic was the use of ICT as a teaching and learning strategy.
All teachers must have been trained to use ICT resources as teaching resources. I agree with Ruby that teachers must not be fired if they are not technologically literate, because they can enhance their learning by professional development sessions.
I totatly agree with Ruby’s comment about students being digital learners. I have actuall watched this video and I agree to make use of what technology our students bring with them to class to incoperate ICT activities into my teaching lessons.
As i mentioned earlier in the previous blog that this year is the only time i have made a podcast. I think it’s a brillant idea and i used audacity to podcast. audacity can be downloaded from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/.

A reply back to Miriam’s blog: Australian Teachers “Tops” at integrating technology
It is a great honour to have our teachers the best at integrating the use of ICT activities in class activities. The use of ICT has expanded quickly. It is the main way students like to learn. I would take all the chances I could possibly take to emerge ICT activities in my lessons.
